“This opportunity will allow me to combine my passion for agricultural education with my commitment to supporting and strengthening Missouri agriculture. I am very eager to connect with farmers, share their incredible stories, and promote agriculture across our great state,” Jaron remarked.

Jaron spent last summer interning with Missouri Farmers Care’s Agriculture Education on the Move™ (Ag Moves), teaching 3rd graders in Columbia Public Schools, and increasing agricultural literacy across the state. Ag Moves seeks to bridge the gap between agriculture and tomorrow’s consumers, and is funded through Missouri Farmers Care, a coalition of more than 40 Missouri agriculture groups. Missouri soybean farmers and their checkoff, the MFA Oil Foundation, FCS Financial and MFA Incorporated support the program, along with contributions from Missouri Corn Merchandising Council, Missouri Beef Industry Council, and the Missouri Fertilizer Control Board.

This fall, Jaron will be returning to the University of Missouri to pursue a master's degree in agricultural education as a graduate teaching assistant. He looks forward to continuing his journey in agriculture education and inspiring future leaders in agriculture.
